This week I had the chance to visit Anour<\/strong>, a Copenhagen-based lighting design brand that left a deep impression on me \u2014 not just for the elegance of their products, but for the values and mindset behind them.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The visit happened during my first day at All That Matters<\/em>. After a warm welcome and an inspiring overview of the projects I\u2019ll be involved in, my manager invited me to join him on a visit to one of our collaborators to discuss some new prototypes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the way there, he realized we were close to Anour\u2019s headquarters<\/strong> \u2014 and, with the sole purpose of introducing me to a company he admires, he decided to make a stop and show me their world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That gesture alone spoke volumes \u2014 and what I saw at Anour only reinforced that feeling.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unlike many companies today, Anour keeps every stage of design and production in-house.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the earliest concept sketches to the final details of each product, everything is handled under one roof.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The result? <\/strong>Not just technical excellence, but a rare sense of cohesion and integrity <\/strong>that you can feel in every object they create.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The highlight<\/strong> of the visit was meeting Anour\u2019s Founder. Not in an office. Not behind a glass wall. But in the workshop, wearing a work uniform, experimenting firsthand with new technical solutions for a potential patent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There was something profoundly moving about seeing leadership so embedded in the making process \u2014 hands-on, humble, and truly dedicated.<\/p>\n\n\n
