Today, I visited the Louisiana Museum, and it was truly inspiring.

Louisiana is a key example of Danish modernist architecture, characterized by its understated, harmonious design that blends seamlessly with the landscape. Designed by Jørgen Bo and Wilhelm Wohlert in the late 1950s, the museum was built around an old villa, emphasizing a connection to nature. Its design features long whitewashed walls, exposed structures, laminated wooden ceilings, deep-red tiled floors, and large glass panels that enhance natural light. Influenced by both the Bay Area’s wooden architecture and traditional Japanese simplicity, Louisiana’s architecture is defined by coherence and gentleness.
